Our story
Stuca was born from the will of bringing to the world a free, light and loose way of dealing with curls. It united the will to free herself from the ties and beliefs that curly women were born with bad hair and therefore would have to "fix that mistake".
For decades, it was believed that there was no right way to deal with curls and this created a collective understanding that straightening was the only solution, even though it could bring negative health consequences. Fortunately, in recent years, this belief is being broken, with the efforts of professional curl specialists and the watchful eyes of modern women. Wavy hair: Curly, frizzy, and wavy hair is beautiful in its natural form.
Re-signifying the image of the curly woman is a gradual and fortunately growing process. There are many people that, today, allow themselves to show the world with their curls and feel good about it. There is still a lot to conquer and many women to reach with our message. We are just at the beginning, but we are relentless.
With the Stuca cosmetics line, we have managed to put together an ideal treatment for different types of curls, and this is making all the difference when it comes to owning your natural hair.

It was in 2012, after graduating in Cosmetology and Aesthetics, in Florianopolis, in southern Brazil, and doing a specialization in curly hair (New York / USA), that Alessandra Carelli Feminella decided to open her first salon: Studio dos Cachos.

From this experience and with all her entrepreneurial will, it was in 2014 that the possibility arose to elaborate an ideal line, within all her beliefs and studies, to meet the hair needs of her local customers.
With the great results and the customers' satisfaction, the products broke the salon boundaries and started to feed other salons in different cities throughout Brazil, being the hair solution for thousands of Brazilian women.

With great results, the first products from the Curls Studio line were launched, breaking the limits of the salon and started supplying other salons in different cities throughout Brazil, being the hair solution for thousands of Brazilian women.

Already in 2016, Alessandra decides that her knowledge should be shared with other professionals who could multiply what she had been doing in all these years. She then elaborated a course, training hundreds of women who today work as specialists and transform lives through self-acceptance and change of paradigms from the curls.

The year 2020 was where the lives of billions of people were drastically impacted. And as every difficulty brings reflections, new paths had to be traced and with that, we rethought the brand.

In 2023, its product line gets a new look so that not only Brazil can enjoy the benefits of these cosmetics, breaking the national boundaries and becoming a product that can be admired by other places in the world.
